BLM Desert Advisory Council to Reschedule Ridgecrest Business Meeting
MORENO VALLEY, Calif. - Due to unforeseen circumstances, the scheduled public meeting of the Desert Advisory Council scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2015 in Ridgecrest has been rescheduled for May 9, 2015 in Riverside, Calif.
The Friday field trip scheduled for April 10 will proceed as scheduled from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For the public planning to participate in the Friday field tour, departure will be from the Ridgecrest Field Office parking lot located at 300 S. Richmond Rd., Ridgecrest, CA. The public must provide their own transportation and lunch.
The rescheduled meeting on May 9 will proceed with the West Mojave (WEMO) Planning Area Route Network Project as the focus topic. Agenda topics for the formal session on Saturday will include a WEMO Route Network Project update. Final agenda topics for the Friday, April 10 field trip and the Saturday, May 9 business meeting will be posted on the BLM California state website at: http://www.blm.gov/ca/st/en/info/rac/dac.html.
Written comments may be filed in advance of the May 9 meeting and should be addressed to the Desert Advisory Council, c/o Bureau of Land Management, External Affairs, 22835 Calle San Juan de Los Lagos, Moreno Valley, CA 92553. Written comments also are accepted at the time of the meeting and, if copies are provided to the recorder, will be incorporated into the minutes.
